Hi, my name is Joseph. Born in Ireland, I was sent to an auction in Scotland, as a youngster, in poor condition. I then lived in Darlington for a short whilst with some alpacas and horses, but when I was 2 years old, I came to live at Long Ears Donkey Centre because I needed some donkey friends to play with and a permanent home to call my own.  I am now 9 years old and my best friend is a miniature Mediterranean donkey called Teddy. I like to play tug of war, football and tig with Teddy and Bandit the donkeys. I really love having donkey hugs and giving people donkey kisses when they are least expecting it!  I like being petted and love to visit schools with my donkey pals to take part in educational talks.
